Texas outdoor nylon flags are USA made, fully sewn, and finished with a canvas heading and two brass grommets on the hoist side, 2 rows of stitching top and bottom sides and 4 rows of stitching on the fly side. They are attached to the flagpole by means of a halyard (rope) and flag snaps, or to smaller poles with flag fasteners.

After the Mexican War of Independence (1810-1813), Mexican Texas was controlled by the Empire of Mexico which then became the Republic of Mexico (1823). The Texas Revolution began with the Battle of Gonzales in 1835 and culminated in 1836 with independence and the establishment of the Republic of Texas. The Lone Star Republic of Texas was an independent sovereign nation from 1836-1846 and annexed to the United States in 1845. |
